Small icing christmastree with mini candy canes and snowflakes. Foodie Christmas gift
To make this Christmas tree I took an ice cream cone as a base. I piped royal icing under the tree to hold it in place. Ones secured I used a leaf tulle to pipe green icing around the tree starting from the bottom going around and up until I reached the tip. With great care not to disturb the icing I placed little snowflakes and candy cane on the tree. The royal icing will harden and this icing tree will last you through the whole Christmas season and beyond.

Thanks every year my kids and I create gingerbread houses for their teachers as thank you for all their hart work. Each year they seem to get more creative. This little tree was one of our new inspirations last year. The fancy little sprinkles are perfect to decorate such miniature trees.
